Brian's MG TC
|
Brian's MG TC is the only one of its kind. Externally it retains its completely original appearange but underneath the bonnet everything has been uprated.
He bought the car 13 years ago and she was just about driveable when he got her - his first job being to bolt the seats in! He has lavished a lot of love and attention on her ever since, whilst keeping her on the road for as much time as possible. He has spent evenings and weekends developing every aspect of her. He had to get another whole car just to get the very rare engine block that he needed for the restoration and has built a completely uprated engine around it. All tranmission has also been uprated and she now has a five speed overdrive gearbox. Her back axle and brakes have been uprated commensurate with her new lease of power and Brian still finds things to fettle and improve every detail. The car is used every weekend and Brian loves taking her to events such as Kop Hill and Brooklands |
