This car is one from a private collection of cars we have worked on.
We restored this engine. The biggest battle was freeing the cylinder head from the block studs, as these were totally rusted and seized in the aluminium head. We made a jig and used a reciprocating air hack saw to cut through the head gasket and seized studs. After drilling out the remains of old studs from the head and block, we were able to rebuild the engine back to standard spec, with new liners and standard pistons.
