Austin 12/4 References

Dear Tim
The car ran very well on Sunday. When traveling westwards on the A27 we encountered almost the worst weather that I have driven through in any car but the Austin was unperturbed. It was interesting to do a journey of close on 100 miles as the Austin definitely improves after 20 miles or so. The engine runs more smoothly once the car gets into its stride. The brakes are now very positive and the car is very much improved with the new suspension. I am also very happy with the lights (indicators make life a lot easier) and glad that I bought Rain-X. |
