Alvis 4.3 Saloon Reference

Dear Guy

I am writing to thank you for the work on my 4.3.  The engine has now done 1900 miles since its rebuild, has masses of power and torque and is beginning to rev freely.  The vibration and misfiring prior to rebuild have disappeared, as have oil and water leaks.  Since your fettling of the brakes and repairs to the servo, stopping the car has been transformed and I now feel much more confident about driving in traffic, almost as if in a modern car.  The overall result is that the car is now a delight to drive and mechanically feels much as I imagine it would have done when new.

Thank you for the 2 CDs of photos of the work done.  I have only been able to go through them quickly but they seem to be an excellent record.  Thanks also for all the advice and general hand-holding.  I hope that you achieve the same results with the suspension as you have with the engine and brakes.
