This is an example of the first 6 cylinder Alvis engine.  This car required an engine rebuild after a conrod let go.  We x-rayed the other 5 rods, all of which displayed suspect cracks around the conrod big end bolt holes.  We had a set of rods made and restored the engine back to its former glory.  We linered the block, white metalled the crank shaft and had the entire rotating assembly dynamically balanced.
