This 1938 Alvis was originally a Glaswegian police car and later was used for racing.  It had a dry sump arrangement and we completely stripped it, re-ashframed it and rebuilt the body.  The engine, gear box, suspension and all mechanical items were over-hauled.  The end result is pictured below, complete with new wings, running boards, door skins and bonnet.
