1972 Lotus Elan

The present owner had enjoyed this car thoroughly for many years, but she was getting tired and unreliable.  We were asked to restore her and carry out a 100% nut-and-bolt rebuild.  We also rewired and repaired all things electrical.

Back to Restoration Workshop

The chassis only required minor welding and the body tub was refitted after a back-to-gel-coat respray.  We finished the engine rebuild with a session on a local rolling road.  The owner has since brought the car back for a service and it is now a joy to drive.
